How do I switch from payment matching in WeFact to matching in Payt?

It is now possible to process patient payments (reconciliation) directly in Payt. This article explains what to keep in mind when switching from WeFact.

What changes when switching from matching in WeFact to matching in Payt?

When you switch to matching within Payt, a large portion of the transactions coming into your bank account will be processed automatically. This means Payt recognises the payment itself and links it to the correct outstanding invoice, saving you a lot of manual searching.

Transactions that Payt cannot match automatically are the responsibility of the practice. You process these manually in Payt, just as you may already be doing in WeFact.

What do I need to keep in mind when switching to reconciliation in Payt?

  1. Decide who gets access to the bank details in Payt

  2. Collect account numbers that can be excluded

  3. Allow around half an hour for configuration

  4. Arrange access to the correct bank account(s)

  5. Account for an overlap in payments
