Within your Payt organisation you can manage multiple bank accounts. You link one of these accounts to each administration. The linked bank account is used in all invoices and reminders and is shown in the customer portal.

Is the bank account you need not yet available in your organisation? Then first add it via the organisation settings. Read this support article to find out how.

Linking or changing a bank account

  1. Open the administration you want to change.

  2. Go to the administration settings via the gear icon in the top right corner.

  3. Click the 'Bank details' tab on the left. Here you can see the bank account that is currently linked to the administration.

  4. Click the 'Change bank account' button and select the bank account you want to use.

  5. Save your changes at the bottom of the page.

Are there multiple account holder names registered for a bank account? Then each combination of bank account and account holder name is shown as a separate option in the selection list. Select the combination with the correct name.

When does the change take effect?

The new bank account applies immediately to all new communication, such as invoices and reminders sent from that moment onwards. The bank account is also changed immediately in the debtor portal. Previously sent invoices and reminders remain unchanged.

Bank account for online payments

The linked bank account is not necessarily the bank account on which online payments (such as iDEAL | Wero) are received. You manage that bank account separately with your payment service provider (PSP), such as Pay. or Mollie.
