Which emails does this concern?
This only concerns the emails that you receive from Payt, such as system emails and notifications. Nothing will change about the emails your customers receive on your behalf, such as invoices and reminders.
What is changing?
We've updated all of our email templates. Both the design and the wording will change. The emails will have a modern, consistent style with a clear structure: a short introduction, the relevant content and, where needed, a single action button that takes you directly to the right place in Payt. The subject lines of the emails have also been updated, so you can see at a glance what an email is about.
From when will I see the new emails?
We're rolling out the new emails in phases, from August until mid-September 2026. It may therefore take a while before you receive the updated emails yourself.
How do I recognise emails from Payt?
Our emails are always sent from the address no-reply@paytsoftware.com. This will not change. Have you received an email that appears to come from Payt, but was sent from a different address? Be cautious and don't just click on any links in that email.
Will my email rules still work?
Have you set up rules in your email program (such as Outlook or Gmail) that automatically move or label emails from Payt? If these rules are based on the subject line of our emails, they may no longer work once you receive the new emails, as the subject lines are also changing. You can easily set up your email rules again afterwards, based on the new subject lines. Rules based on the sender address will continue to work as normal.
What do the new emails look like?
Below you'll see two examples of emails in the old and the new design. On the left you'll see the old design, on the right the new design.
