Which invoices can my customers see in the online invoice portal?

In Payt, you configure which invoices are visible to your customers in the online invoice portal. Choose between outstanding, all, or separate invoices, and override this per customer.

Updated this week

In Payt, you can configure per administration which invoices are visible to your customers in the online invoice portal. Want to make an exception for a specific customer? You can override the setting per customer.

Adjusting the setting for your entire administration

  1. Open your administration settings via the cogwheel icon in the top right of Payt.

  2. Go to the 'Customer portal' tab in the left-hand menu.

  3. Find the 'Visible invoices' setting and choose one of the options:

    • Outstanding invoices only: customers only see invoices that have not yet been paid.

    • All invoices: customers see both outstanding and paid invoices.

    • Separate invoices only: customers only see the invoice they used to open the portal; other invoices are not visible, regardless of their payment status.

  4. Save your changes using the button at the bottom of the page.

Overriding the setting for a specific customer

Want to use a different setting for one customer than for the rest of your administration, so they can or cannot view their paid or other invoices? You can do this in the customer settings.

  1. Open the customer page of the relevant customer.

  2. Go to 'Customer settings' -> 'Customer portal' in the top right.

  3. Adjust the 'Visible invoices' setting to the desired option.

  4. Save your changes.
