What is a UBL invoice?
A UBL invoice is a digital invoice in .XML format. Its structured layout allows it to be processed automatically by the customer's accounting system - no manual entry needed.
How are UBL invoices sent via Payt?
Payt supports two delivery methods for UBL invoices.
As an email attachment. You can choose to include the UBL invoice as an extra attachment in the invoice email. To enable this feature, contact the Payt service desk. Note: some customers may use automated invoice processing tools that struggle with emails containing multiple attachments.
Via the Peppol network: You can connect your Payt administration to Peppol. The UBL invoice will then be sent electronically through the Peppol network. You can also choose to send a regular email to the customer, including a PDF copy of the invoice.
